Franciacorta, Berlucchi '61 Brut

Lombardy DOCG: 90% Chardonnay/10% Pinot Nero. Aromas of white wild flower, citrus and a whiff of bread crust. On the palate: white peach, Golden Delicious apple and lemon drop. A brioche note wraps up the finish. Franciacorta is made from the same grapes and in the same manner as French sparkling (i.e. Champagne).
